Hello GRE Prep Club community!
I'm excited to share a powerful tool I've developed that every serious GRE aspirant needs: an accurate GRE score calculator that simulates the actual GRE adaptive testing algorithm.
How to Use
- Enter your correct answers for Quant Section 1 (0-12).
- Enter your correct answers for Quant Section 2 (0-15).
- Repeat for Verbal sections.
- Click CALCULATE to see your predicted scores.
- Difficulty Indicators: Based on the questions you nailed correctly in the first section you will know visually if the second section is easy, medium, or hard.
GRE Scoring Notes
The points you can earn are still the same 40 even though technically the numbers between 170 and 130 are 41 over the number of questions that are #27.
# of questions you picked correct in both quant or verbal sections, plus the bonus or the penalty, help determine your score estimate.
Example: suppose you got 23 questions in quant or verbal out of 27, then you apply a hypothetical bonus if the second section was hard or a penalty if it was easy.
Why This Calculator is Different
Unlike basic calculators that just add raw scores, this tool replicates the real GRE adaptive testing mechanism. It considers section 1 performance affecting section 2 difficulty, student scores, and quantitative AND verbal scoring algorithms including bonuses or penalties.
Key Features
- Real adaptive simulation that shows how section 1 performance determines section 2 difficulty.
- Instant score estimation for Quant, Verbal, and Total scores.
- Difficulty indicators with visual feedback on section performance.
- Mobile-friendly design that works on all devices.
- Light/Dark mode cues for preferred viewing style.
Perfect For
- Post-practice test analysis.
- Goal setting and score targeting.
- Understanding the GRE scoring algorithm.
- Tracking progress over time.
